St John Tyrone Clarke

St John 'Sinj' Clarke is a Sydney based session pianist and composer.

As a jazz pianist, his interests lie predominantly in improvised music. Though the past decade has seen him lend his hands to a variety of genres both as a session musician and as a recording artist.

Working professionally as a session musician, Sinj has shared the stage with Australian Hip Hop Duo “Horrorshow”, Pop-Punk outfit “Short Stack” and the Minimalist Electronica artist “Exhibitionist” as well as over the years collaborating artistically with members of “The Middle East”, “Operator Please” and many more.

Recently Sinj released "Music For An Italian Afternoon", his debut album featuring several heavy hitting Sydney jazz cats as well as members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

When not playing music, he enjoys curating playlists, crate digging for rare and obscure soul and reggae, and collecting vintage keyboards and synthesisers.
